The old RoomViz has closed.
On 1 October 2026, the old RoomViz closed: its web editor, its plugins and the service behind them. RoomViz is now a desktop studio and a phone app.
The plugins
The plugins for Blender, 3ds Max, AutoCAD and Unreal Engine are discontinued, with the room library they imported from. They are no longer developed or offered for download, and an installed plugin can no longer connect, because the service it talked to has closed. You can uninstall them.
Your account and your rooms
The old web editor has closed too. Its rooms and projects are not carried over to the new RoomViz. A few old accounts are, as accounts only (the people who had made rooms or used the plugins): if yours is one, we wrote to you, and you sign in with Google or a code by email. Anyone else makes a new account.
What the old service held is no longer online. It is kept in a private archive until 31 December 2026, only to answer requests about it, and is then deleted. To ask for a copy of your data, or for its deletion before then, write to [email protected].
If you bought the Founding plan on the old RoomViz, it continues on the new RoomViz at the price you paid. You can cancel it at any time and ask for a refund; we contact you personally.
What next
RoomViz Studio is the new way to design with RoomViz: one model for plans, sections, 3D and renders, and one account with the phone app.
